Petite Star

Hydrangea paniculata Petite Star

New for 2021!

This hydrangea belongs to the “Petite” series of varieties – compact-growing hydrangea varieties that bloom beautifully all summer.

A low, compact shrub, it grows only 60–65 cm tall and 90–95 cm wide.

The plant is adorned with dense, large flower heads formed at the tips of the current year's shoots, made up of sterile flowers.

Flowering begins at the end of June.

During flowering, until September, the flowers change colour from lime to white, then take on pink tones before turning brick red.

The shrub flowers abundantly from July until autumn.

The plant is easy to grow, frost-hardy and requires a sunny position.

Because of its small size, this variety can be used anywhere.

Recommended for planting in public and urban green spaces, as well as as a ground cover plant.

Suitable for growing in containers on balconies and terraces.
