Description

Panicle hydrangea “GRAFFITI”

is a 2019 novelty, presented at the Plantarium exhibition.

A dwarf shrub up to 1 m high and equally wide.

Stiff shoots

upright.

Leaves are ovate, dark green, strongly pubescent on both sides.

Flowers are gathered in cone-shaped inflorescences at the tips of the shoots.

The inflorescences grow up to 25-30 cm long; initially they are light green, opening pure snow-white with aquamarine tips, but by the end of summer they turn pink with green and white veins.

Almost all annual shoots are crowned with inflorescences.

Blooming begins in July and continues until September; after flowering, the flowers dry, remaining as an ornament of the shrub in autumn and winter.

The variety is recommended for growing in moderately fertile, moist and well-drained, slightly acidic soils, in sunny or partially shaded places.

Fully frost hardy, healthy.

Recommended for planting in groups in the garden and green spaces, as well as for growing in containers.

The flowers are ideal for bouquets and drying.
