Golden Zest

Golden Zest Dr. Keith W. Zary USA, 2005.

The old-fashioned, cupped blooms have beautiful soft apricot tones and a wonderful fragrance of freshly squeezed lemons, making this rose a true delight in the garden.

The bloom is an exquisite old-fashioned form, lush in colour from creamy yellow to amber, with curved outer petals that suggest a cup shape, and consists of 41 or more (up to 100) petals.

The average flower diameter is about 10 cm; blooms appear singly or in clusters and emit a strong fragrance with notes of anise, peach, citrus, clove and violet.

The foliage is dark, glossy and large.

The shrub is vigorous, well branched, up to 150 cm high.

This variety is not afraid of heat.

Very disease resistant.

Can be used in mass plantings and hedges.

Beautiful as a standard rose.
