Description
Delbard France, 2004
A flower that is classic, even old-fashioned, with an unusually strong fragrance.
Its deep lilac buds, set in a cup shape, open into sumptuous pink-violet flowers on bushes with purplish-red stems, vigorous and highly disease-resistant.
The second name, Soeur Emmanuelle, was given to the variety in honour of Sister Emmanuelle, a nun known for her charitable work.
The flowers are deep lilac in colour and fade over time, but do not lose their appeal and seem adorned with silver hair.
The fragrance is strong, with distinctive herbal notes (anise, dill, basil, lavender).
The bushes are vigorous, with a well-proportioned crown.
