Morden Sunrise

Morden Sunrise Davidson & Collicutt Canada, 1991

Morden Sunrise is the first winter-hardy yellow rose in the Parkland series. Ideally suited to informal plantings. Introduced in 1999, its beautiful yellow flowers appear throughout the summer. The shrub is upright, 70 cm tall and about as wide. The flowers are fragrant, yellow-orange or yellow. In cool weather, pink tones appear. The flowers are about 8 cm in diameter, semi-double, borne in clusters of 4–8. The foliage is very attractive, dark green and glossy. This is complemented by good resistance to black spot, powdery mildew and rust.
