Morden Centennial

Morden Centennial Marshall, 1980

Morden Centennial is one of the best Canadian roses. The flowers are light crimson, fading to bright pink, double. They appear singly or in clusters of up to 15 blooms (usually 3–7), followed by attractive red hips. The first flowering is very abundant, but the plant always carries a few flowers until the next abundant flush in autumn. Removing faded flowers encourages the appearance of new blooms. The foliage is dark, glossy and healthy, and the shrub is vigorous. Pruning encourages the rose to branch and increases the number of flowers.
