The Fairy

Bentall, 1932 The Fairy is the world’s most popular and widely grown polyantha rose, as well as one of the easiest roses to grow. The flowers are pink, fading to pale pink, sometimes almost white (the colour keeps best in cool weather). They appear in long, airy clusters of 10–40 blooms. The variety starts flowering rather late, but continues almost without interruption until late autumn. Sometimes small orange hips appear after the flowers. The foliage is pale, and the shrub becomes spreading, growing sideways with age.
