Sonnenkind

Sonnenkind Kordes Germany, 1986

Sonnenkind resembles a miniature hybrid tea rose. Some experts classify it as a low hybrid tea rose, others as a large miniature, but in fact it probably fits best in the patio rose category. The flowers are elegantly shaped and often appear singly. They are a clear, bright yellow and stand out beautifully against the dark foliage. The spent flowers drop cleanly on their own. The shrub is well branched and blooms so abundantly that the leaves are hidden beneath the flowers. Its neat shape makes it ideal for containers.
