Biedermeier

Biedermeier Tantau, 2004

An incredibly beautiful patio variety. The size and shape of the flowers make it more like an old-fashioned hybrid tea rose, while the very compact, spreading shrub, about 40 cm high, is ideally suited to patio planting or growing in containers. The flowers open very slowly and appear in large clusters of 3–5 blooms. They are bicoloured, cherry-red and greenish white, with a spherical shape. The foliage is very glossy, bronze-tinted and disease-resistant. The variety is winter-hardy.
