Height 1.5–2.0 m. The leaves are dark green, larger than those of other roses, slightly glossy. The flowers are bright violet-pink, large (8–11 cm), double (19–27 petals), very fragrant, borne at the ends of 3–7 shoots. To encourage continued blooming until autumn, faded flowers should be removed immediately. This rose’s large pink-lilac flower has a pronounced fragrance and is double. The flowers are borne singly and in clusters of 3–5. Blooming may sometimes repeat. The shrub is tall, spreading, with leathery green foliage.
