Characteristics
Description
McGredy, New Zealand, 1984
No one knows whether this beautiful floribunda owes its popularity to its name or its appearance. The flowers are almost flat, with slightly wavy petals, rosette-shaped, reminiscent of camellias. They are warm pink, with darker petal undersides and paler edges – a very beautiful colour combination. They appear in clusters of 5–15 on strong, upright shoots. The bush is dense and low, with dark, disease-resistant foliage. Blooming is long and abundant, though there is quite a long pause before the next flush.
