Novalis

Rose Novalis

from the "Fairy Tale Roses" collection with flowers of an unusual colour that can be described as conditionally blue. Fully open, the densely double, cup-shaped flower is pale lilac, and as it fades, an ashen tint appears. It blooms in clusters, abundantly, in waves, throughout the season. The fragrance is delicate and pleasant. The shrub is upright and can also reach 1 m in height; the shoots are strong. Disease resistance is high. The variety has been awarded the ADR mark. Novalis is the pseudonym of the poet Georg Philipp Friedrich von Hardenberg, one of the most outstanding figures of German literature of the early Romantic period (1772-1801).
