Hansestadt Rostock

Hansestadt Rostock Hans Jürgen Evers, Germany, 2010

In 2011, the fast-growing floribunda rose 'Hansestadt Rostock' was awarded the honorary title 'Golden Rose of Baden-Baden', receiving 79 points out of 100. The rich green foliage highlights the magnificent double flowers in an apricot-orange colour.

So many flowers form on a single stem at the same time that it creates the impression of a true sea of blooms, radiating a soft, delicate fragrance.

Already in the first year, when planted in groups, the bushes grow fully and closely together, forming a beautiful living wall.

A compact rose with abundant and long-lasting flowering, ideally suited to both private gardens and public landscaping.

This wonderful variety was bred at the Rosen Tantau nursery, located northwest of Hamburg in Germany.
