Friesia Kordes, 1977

Friesia

has been the most popular yellow floribunda since the 1970s, and it remains deservedly popular.

The flowers are a beautiful bright yellow, with a darker reverse to the petals.

They fade only slightly and keep a beautiful shape at all stages.

The red stamens of a fully open flower look very attractive.

Fragrant flowers appear singly or in clusters of 3–7 and last well.

The bush is compact, disease-resistant, with dark green, glossy foliage.

It blooms almost continuously.

It performs well in both hot and cold weather and tolerates rain well.

Suitable for growing in poor soils.
