Sympathie

Sympathie Kordes Germany, 1964

Sympathie combines the hardiness of kordesii hybrids with the elegant form of hybrid tea roses. The flowers are double, high-centred, with elegantly curved petals, in a bright red colour. They appear in clusters of 3–10 blooms, and after the abundant first flowering follows a series of less abundant waves. The flowers withstand rain and wind well. The shrub is branched and vigorous, with glossy, bright green foliage that is disease-resistant.
