Polka

Polka Meilland France, 1991

Polka is a very beautiful and unusual rose that can be grown as a low climber or as a large, arching shrub. The flowers are a stunning rich apricot colour, fading to cream at the edges, while the underside of the petals is darker, creating a play of shade and nuance throughout the bloom. The petals have wavy edges and resemble crepe paper. They appear singly or in small clusters — rarely more than 3 together — and are very suitable for flower arrangements. The rose repeat-flowers. The foliage is quite disease-resistant, large, dark and glossy.
