Description

The newest Polish variety with light blue flowers with irregular light violet blotches and pink veins. Flowers very abundantly from mid-June to the end of July, then continues flowering more sparsely until the end of August. A relatively undemanding, vigorous variety.

WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE: Medium-sized flowers, diameter 10–12 cm, light blue, with irregular light purple-red blotches that are paler towards the centre and with pink veins, made up of 4–6 elliptical, pointed tepals with slightly wavy margins; underneath they are light blue with a pale, almost white stripe running down the middle. The stamens on greenish-white filaments have dark purple-violet anthers. It flowers very abundantly VI, VII, more weakly VIII. Leaves simple, made up of 3–5 leaflets, or doubly compound, up to 24 cm long and up to 27 cm wide; dark green leaves, with a red margin when young, about 14 cm long and 10 cm wide. Young shoots are green-violet, while older ones are brown.

HOW IT GROWS: climbs by means of leaf stalks. It grows moderately vigorously, reaching 2.5 m in height.
