Characteristics
Description
A charming variety that in summer is covered with a mass of imaginative, burgundy flowers in a retro style. It blooms abundantly from June to September. Recommended for both beginner gardeners and enthusiasts.
WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE: Flowers small, 6-8 cm in diameter, double, burgundy, composed of 4-6 larger outer sepals and many inner ones that are narrower and shorter. The outer sepals are matte, light, pinkish grey, and curve outwards when reflexed. Blooms abundantly in July and less abundantly until September.
HOW IT GROWS: climbs by means of leaf stalks. It grows moderately vigorously, reaching 3-4 m in height.
